Position Overview

Anteris Technologies is a structural heart company that IPO-ed on NASDAQ and developed next-generation TAVI, the first biomimetic valve (DurAVR) that restores physiological hemodynamics across the aortic valve. The IPO supported the vision to commercialize the DurAVR in addition to a multi-modality (internal/external) approach to building a full suite of structural heart and valve technologies. We are now hiring our Vice President of R&D to lead this vision.
We have partnered with David St. Denis, President of Anteris Technologies, to hire our Vice President of R&D. This position will focus on the development of the DurAVR, bringing it through clinical stages and into manufacturing, as well as the research necessary to expand our product portfolio. Our VP of R&D will own all engineering aspects and the R&D team expansion of Anteris. This position will report to the President and manage three senior leaders (Director of V2V edge-to-edge repair, Implant Director, and Catheter Director), in addition to guiding 30+ team of engineers from concept through design verification, manufacturing transfer, pivotal trials, and commercialization.
In short, this is a corporate leader who brings the ability to scale and lead sizable teams while also being a “do-er” through this growth phase of a one-product, public company that needs to build a suite of products that enables Anteris to be the next “Structural Heart Company.” An easier way to think about it is an ISO 5840-3, R&D, startup professional that is capable of thriving in a corporate strategic environment.

Anteris® Technologies is a global structural heart company dedicated to revolutionizing cardiac care. Our mission is to forge new frontiers in cardiac care by pioneering science-driven and measurable advancements to restore heart valve patients to healthy function. Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) technologies were originally designed for older, high-risk patients. Today, younger, more active patients need a better solution that will not just open and close but restore healthy heart function. We sought to restore healthy blood flow patterns by creating the world’s first biomimetic TAVR valve, DurAVR® THV. This cutting-edge valve, incorporating our proprietary ADAPT® anti-calcification technology, is designed to mimic the natural function of a healthy heart valve.
