We have partnered with Wayne Allen, CEO, to hire our Head of Marketing. This position will utilize their knowledge of the neurovascular space to lead and execute on upstream and downstream marketing strategy. The Head of Marketing will be responsible for communicating Perfuze’s unique value propositions to the market, ensuring physicians are educated and trained appropriately, and leading the creation of sales tools.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Define and lead a global marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, with a
primary focus on U.S. market entry and growth. - Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure marketing initiatives drive both commercial and corporate success.
- Monitor market dynamics and technological advancements to keep Perfuze at the forefront of innovation.
- Market Expansion & Growth
- Identify and drive growth opportunities across domestic and international markets.
- Influence pricing, market access, and reimbursement strategies to support product adoption and commercial success.
Product & Portfolio Marketing
- Own the full product marketing lifecycle—from concept and clinical messaging to launch and post-market optimization.
- Develop competitive positioning and differentiation strategies based on market intelligence and competitor insights.
- Collaborate with R&D and Clinical to refine messaging for future indications (e.g. MeVOs) and pipeline products.
Demand Generation & Brand Building
- Develop and optimize demand generation initiatives including digital campaigns, content strategy, and physician engagement.
- Build and evolve the Perfuze brand across all customer-facing channels—website, social media, collateral, and events.
Clinical & KOL Engagement
- Drive meaningful relationships with KOLs, physicians, and industry stakeholders.
- Support podium strategy, physician education, and clinical society initiatives to build credibility and influence.
Sales Enablement
- Partner with Sales to develop compelling tools, presentations, and messaging for the IR suite.
- Create launch toolkits and training materials to support new product introductions.
Budget
- Manage the marketing budget with a focus on ROI and measurable impact.
Qualifications & Competencies

10+ years of marketing experience in the medical device industry, with a strong preference for neurovascular or interventional domains.

Demonstrated success in launching Class II or III medical devices in the U.S., with end- to-end marketing ownership.

Deep understanding of market dynamics, trends, and unmet needs in stroke or related interventional specialties.

Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and commercial growth.

Strong clinical and commercial acumen; able to translate complex data into compelling, accessible messaging.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for content quality and clarity.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects in parallel.

Strong interpersonal skills; able to build trusted relationships with KOLs, clinicians, and cross-functional teams.
