Simulands is a commercial-stage MedTech simulation startup based in Zurich, Switzerland and has developed industry-leading simulators for minimally invasive cardiovascular procedures. Simulands’ innovative product lines allows sales reps, R&D teams, and physicians to train with and demonstrate catheter-based procedures on realistic physical models. With global customers including the top transcatheter heart valve manufacturers as well as startups, Simulands has experienced over 100% revenue growth YoY and is projected to reach profitability in 2025. We have partnered with Andrea Guidotti, CEO, and Bertrand Mercier, Global Sales Director, to hire our Head of US Sales. This position will be responsible for building customer relationships with medical device companies throughout the US in a hands-on fashion by attending industry conferences and conducting product demonstrations while contributing to improvements in company-wide sales strategies and building out a US sales force.

Responsibilities
- Manage all sales activities within the US aligned with Simulands’ global commercial objectives - lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with key accounts, ensuring commercially viable and sustainable agreements.
- Grow existing customers base
- Hunt new customers: Medtech (commercial and R&D phase), Educational parnerships with congress organizers
- Manage key customer relationships with hospitals, physicians, MedTech companies, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Drive new business development efforts by identifying and securing new customers, partnerships, and distribution channels in the US market.
- Support training and education initiatives for customers, ensuring effective adoption of Simulands’ products and solutions.
- Represent Simulands at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings, acting as the company’s ambassador in the US.
- Grow Simulands brand and wet simulators awareness
- Execute marketing initiatives in the US market, ensuring alignment with global branding and promotional strategies.
- Oversee customer engagement and satisfaction, ensuring a high level of service and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to refine Simulands’ US commercial strategy.
- Act as a key strategic contributor to Simulands’ growth in the US, providing insights and recommendations for market expansion and product positioning.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Therapy Development & Education, and Customer Success, to ensure cohesive market execution.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the Sales Director Global, with actionable recommendations to optimize sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with US regulatory and commercial requirements, working closely with internal stakeholders to navigate market-specific challenges.
