MedTech Rodeo

This ain't our first Rodeo. It is an annual fusion of MedTech corporate strategics, investors, executives, policy makers and industry partners set against the backdrop of the world-renowned Houston Rodeo. With a bold Texas twist and a venue that trades hotel ballrooms and lobbies for boots-on and Hats-off experiences. This event delivers high-impact networking in a refreshingly unconventional setting.

Attendees gather for educational panels, relaxed relationship building, and unforgettable experiences like armadillo races, live Country music, and western-themed activations. It’s a rodeo-style conference that sparks collaboration and leaves lasting impressions.

Real testimonials from innovators shaping the future of MedTech

What an amazing MedTech Rodeo conference hosted by Lifeblood!!!!
Giovanni Lauricella and team do an incredible job of bringing venture & angel investors, early-stage medical device companies, and medical device experts from around the globe for a one-of-a-kind networking event. It's close, personal and just a ton of fun!!!

The venue was great - Armadillo Palace in Houston is a unique experience and the food and drinks were the best!!! Don't tell Giovanni, but I went back for seconds more than once!

My favorite part - I made many new friends from all around the world!

Hope to see "ya'll" at the next Lifeblood event!!

Fantastic first few days at the Houston MedTech Rodeo with Lifeblood and Giovanni Lauricella in the fastest growing MedTech town in the U.S.!
Building MedTech companies is really hard work. But we can still have a lot of fun along the way. Amazing to have so many Goodwin MedTech partners down for the festivities -- covering the full spectrum needs of any MedTech company -- corporate, IP, regulatory, M&A and beyond. If you are around and we haven't met yet, please come and say "Hi Y'all" today!

Great week connecting with investors and strategics at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Annual Meeting and the Houston MedTech Rodeo.
Yesterday I had the opportunity to join a panel on institutional venture capital alongside Samuel Scofield, Christopher Hanson, Jenny Barba, Steven Levy, and Sarah Fox. Thank you to Martin Gomez and Gregory Mann for the thoughtful questions and engaging discussion.

Appreciation as well to Giovanni Lauricella,Joseph Snyder, Benjamin Sanchez, and the team at Lifeblood for bringing together such a strong group of MedTech builders, investors, and operators.

Pleasure serving on a panel regarding “Health System Corporate Venture - The Extreme Value Add Investor”,
sharing insights on OSF Ventures, and learning from my colleagues including Aileen H., Zach Eisen , Kipum Lee, PhD , Mike Anderes and Bob Crutchfield at the Houston Medtech Rodeo. One key takeaway: we like to co-invest together!

Thank you to Giovanni Lauricella and the Lifeblood team for organizing a one of its kind medtech conference in a fantastic venue.

Congratulations to Lifeblood and Giovanni Lauricella for hosting a well-coordinated and content-rich program!
I just returned from a highly educational 2-day MedTech conference in Houston that I'd highly recommend for anyone interested in getting into the world of MedTech start-ups. If you're seeking advice on how best to get your company to the next major milestone or you need to find outside support to do it, you're likely to find both here! Two things consistently struck me during the event: 1) the MedTech ecosystem in Houston is well-coordinated, has momentum, and is growing fast, and 2) this community of CEOs, funding sources, and support vendors are friendly, approachable, and eager to help each other succeed!

I look forward to attending the MedTech Oktoberfest event in September!
